Melanie Sykes posts NAKED photo of herself while getting ready for work The Sun

MELANIE Sykes shared a NAKED photo of her getting ready for work on Instagram this morning.

The TV presenter showed off her svelte frame as she put on some moisturiser before a photo shoot.

She captioned the snap: "Me at silly o'clock this morning getting ready for the shoot with @samhemsley we love to collaborate on really beautiful pics. She is sooo bloody talented."

Melanie's 55,000 followers were sent into a tizzy over her racy snap with her fans telling the 45-year-old that she looked "absolutely beautiful".

One fan wrote: "Wow you're so gorgeous and the camera loves you."

Another added: "What does a man have to do to take out a gorgeous, smart woman like yourself?"

Someone else wrote: "You've left me speechless".

While her followers were all complimentary, one or two have rubbed Melanie up the wrong way in the past.

She told Fabulous magazine: “Somebody on Instagram recently wrote: ‘Not bad for an old bird,’ and I was like: ‘How very dare you!’.”

“It makes me laugh because everyone talks to me about ageing, and I think: ‘God, I’m only 45, it’s not like I’m 65!’ I’ve got another 45 [years] if I’m lucky.’”

While she has a killer figure, Melanie, 45, admits she has body insecurities like everyone else.

Writing in a candid blog post last week, she said: "My down days, thankfully, are not the norm but of course I have them.

"Of course no one looks at themselves and thinks perfection.

“I will never have a J-Lo bottom, mine is as flat as a pancake and no matter how many squats, donkey kicks and lunges I may do in the gym it does remain flat.”

The size 8-10 star has scaled back muscle-honing exercises which has resulted in a softer body shape.

She told Fabulous magazine: “I get ripped quite easily, but lately I’ve felt like I don’t know if it suits me so much.

“I’m 46 in August, and you have to think about these things. I just want to take a bit more care of myself internally, to protect my ligaments and bones, and if that means losing muscle definition, then so be it. I’m not saying it’s bad – I like my physique. I work at it.”

Mel is passionate about keeping fit and has transformed herself from slim to ridiculously toned.

She recently swapped “burpees and bouncing around like a nut job” for Pilates and barre classes (ballet meets Pilates).

She said: “It’s light weights but intense, deep stretching. It’s hard."

On top of three to five hours of exercise a week, Mel squeezes in one “punishing” personal training session.
